I am often asked by my friends what apps I used to edit my photos on #instagram. Holp up! My photos don't look that good to me and most of the time, I'm too lazy to edit or my friends would want me to post it right away. If ever I had time to edit, I use these apps to make my photos have that extra kick. Believe me, I don't use camera360 or retrica. Too mainstream.
1. Snapseed
Yep, this app is more advance. This app allows you to manipulate the picture's brightness, saturation and the whole she bang in a specific area of the picture. It also had amazing filters to make your picture HD.
2. Picsart
I use this app to put some artsy fartsy text on the picture. This app also had some filters to make your picture have that vintage effect and light glare effect.
3. Instasize
I use this app to make my pictures fit on instagram without cropping. I hate cropping pictures. 😝
4. Flipgram
5. VSCO
Sometimes I just want my pucture have that filmy grainy and very indie effect. I had this app to do just that.
The best thing about these apps. They are all for free!
While you are at it, maybe you can follow me on instagram @skinnybrokovich

Deletei like using picsart to create some 'artsy' uploads too! snapseed sounds amazing! i'm going to check that out. will check out your IG too!
ReplyDeleteTHanks!
DeleteVSCO has always been one of my favorite photo apps. However, if and when I'm in a hurry I use Afterlight. I rarely add text to my photos, but when I do, I use After Photo. PS. See you in Instagram :)
ReplyDeleteAfterlight is a great app. I could have posted it here but it's not for free!
DeleteThanks for the tips! I'm always looking for a new cool app and those are all new to me =)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome
DeleteYou may also try line camera and pixlr. I personally like pixlr a lot. It is like photoshop in mobile.
ReplyDeleteYeah!
DeleteI am not into Instagram but my son is. Gotta share this post to him.
ReplyDeleteyou should
DeleteI'm a VSCO cam app user ever since, it wasn't famous when I found out about it while browsing through the apps. Nothing beats VSCO. I have download some of the aforementioned apps but got rid of them because I don't use them daily like the VSCO :)
ReplyDeleteokay..
DeleteI have vscocam and instasize and I feel that's about all that I need! I also use meitu app for selfies, they have AWESOME FILTERS!! And you can enlarge your eyes, smoothen skin... etc. It's like photoshop on mobile.
ReplyDeleteDownloaded meitu.. It's great however most of it are in Chinese characters
DeleteThat Instasize sounds interesting. Personally, I use Aviary for my phone and Pixlr for my PC.
ReplyDeleteGood to know that PixLr is on pc now.. I will try Aviary!
DeleteI've heard of Snapseed from so many people in my industry. I'm used to Picasa when it comes to my blog images. I don't like the current IG set of filters, so I'm experimenting with Camera 360 now.
ReplyDeleteSnapseed is good.. I use picasa for my pc also.. however 360 give me that mainstream editing feel. you can tell by looking at the picture that it comes from 360. magic skin is so mainstream now
Deleteill try to download picsart
ReplyDeleteyou should

DeleteI love Snapseed a lot! I use that lot when editing pictures. I do hope they make one for desktop soon. But I have observed that Instagram is also upgrading their editing features.
ReplyDeleteYeah.. snapseed should be available for pc..
DeleteI just got flipagram lately and it was cool to make a video using flipagram. Instasize should be helpful for me to though I use square ready to fit in photos.
ReplyDeleteInstasize had new features you should check it out
DeleteI've seen many people using VSCO but have yet to try it out. Anyway, thanks for sharing the apps, and I think I'll give them a try.
